Children ages 3 to 5 have a new place to explore art while older siblings are in school. Art for Little Hands is a new program at Artbeat Creativity Store and Studio located in East Arlington’s Capitol Square. Art for Little Hands offers parents with young children a place to explore colorful, tactile activities while developing skills that are important for later learning. Weekly activities like sand painting, animal collage, easy mosaics and puppet making use eco-friendly materials to engage children in exploring shapes, colors, and textures.
Art for Little Hands is held Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Snacks and materials are included in the $10 per session fee. To register call 781-646-2200.
