February Art Workshops and Events

Learn new techniques, try out interesting materials &
make seasonal gifts.

Special projects are offered every Saturday. Projects take about one hour to complete and are open to ages 4 to adult. Children younger than 8 require an adult helper.
In Arlington, project may not be available until 3:00 pm (call to check)
Instruction is always free; a fee is charged for materials.

Old-Fashioned Valentine Making Extravaganza
Valentine cards Make beautiful cards for your classmates and all the people who mean the most to you with fun papers, lace doilies, glitter, and lots of hearts!

Saturday, February 13:
My Robot Valentine
Sweetheart pillow Decorate and lace a felt pillow as either a robot or a heart to keep or give as a Valentine gift.

Love that Sand Art! Valentine's Day in Capitol Square & Downtown Franklin February 14:
Celebrate Valentine's Day with a FREE sand painting that doubles as a Valentine card.

Giant Sand Art Poster
Sand Art poster Create a large sand painting embellished with patterned papers and gems as a poster for your wall. Choose from outer space, butterflies, penguins, or a giant turtle or owl.

African Symbol Candle
African Symbol Candle Celebrate Black History month by decorating candles with West African Adinkra symbols made from beeswax.

Mosaic Mirror
Indonesian Wall Art Build a mosaic design on a 6" base with stained glass, ceramic tiles, glass marbles, buttons and shells surrounding a mirror.
