March Art Workshops and Events

Learn new techniques, try out interesting materials &
make seasonal gifts.

Special projects are offered every Saturday. Projects take about one hour to complete and are open to ages 4 to adult. Children younger than 8 require an adult helper.
In Arlington, project may not be available until 3:00 pm (call to check)
Instruction is always free; a fee is charged for materials.

Saturday, March 6 All day:
Mosaic Flower Pot Turn an ordinary clay pot into a work of art using colorful flat marble and your own broken pottery or found objects.. Makes a great planter or tool holder, indoors or out. ($15)
Saturday, March 13 All day:
End of the Rainbow Treasure Box There's a treasure box at the end of this rainbow - a paper rainbow that you brush on like paint. ($15)

 

 

Saturday, March 20, All day:
Painted Egg Candles Create springtime scenes on a pair of egg-shaped candles using colored beeswax that you can apply like paint. ($15)

Saturday, March 27, All day:
Funny Bunnies

What's your favorite - cute little bunnies or roguish rabbits?
Create the character you like best with a soft cotton bunny and dress it in springtime finest.
