Classic Children’s ART PARTY

Are you looking for a different way to celebrate your child's birthday? Imagine a group of friends working happily together on an art project while you relax.

That's the ARTBEAT classic party: all of the hands-on fun you can imagine, with no work or worries for you. Perfect for 10 - 16 friends; a mini party for up to 6 friends is also available.

Your child chooses an art project for his or her friends to enjoy (see the menu choices to the left), and takes home a stack of colorful invitations to fill out and mail. On party day, you arrive to find everything set up in your own private space.

An experienced instructor greets the children and guides them in their art making for about an hour. When their projects are finished, we clear the tables so you can serve refreshments (we provide paper goods and water bottles), open gifts, and whatever else you want to do in the remaining time. Each child leaves with a fun and inspiring handmade gift, a colorful party bag with a take-home craft project as a party favor, and a festive balloon.

Children’s Parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays, and some weekday afternoons and early evenings (for older children - take the kids for pizza first, then come for an art project; finish up with cake in our studio, and you've had a great party with a minimum of fuss).

Mosaic PartiesMosaics are fascinating, and kids love to design name plaques and mirrors that they can hang on their walls at home. These mosaics are the real thing: kids choose from a buffet of stained glass, ceramic tiles, sea glass, and glass marbles in a rainbow of colors. Kids leave their finished designs for us to grout later. The cleaned and polished mosaic is ready to be picked up in a week. Add $5 per child to basic party price.

Creative Adventures™
Sand Art Parties

Our Creative Adventures™ Sand Art Party is an innovative way to make art that appeals to all ages from 4 through 12. It is an economical alternative to our classic party because you are the instructor.
Your child chooses two designs from dozens of available themes, including animals, outer space, and initials, and takes home a stack of colorful invitations to fill out and mail. We'll give you a 10 minute lesson in sand painting and a printed guide for how to run the party. On party day, you arrive to find everything set up in your own studio space. We'll help your group get started, and help clean up when they are finished.
The kids will take 20 to 30 minutes to do each painting. You’ve got the studio for an hour and a half, so there's plenty of time for you to serve refreshments (bring your own paper goods), open gifts, and whatever else you want to do in the remaining time.

Each child leaves with two 5" x 7" paintings in protective sleeves, a party bag to carry them home, and a festive balloon.
