All classes will be held at ArtBeat on
Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:30 a. m. to 12 p.m. (ages 7 - 10)
& 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (ages 11 - 14)

$50 fee per one week session plus special supply packs to be purchased at ArtBeat ($10-$15).

Students will finish each week with a
finished product and a big smile!

About the teacher:GRIFFIN INK


The recruits will start by designing their own uniforms – a painted t-shirt that will serve as a cover-up over the four weeks of BeatCamp. Kids enlist for one week at a time or sign on for a full month of training. Children not ready or able to join up for a class will be able to explore sand painting, doll making, mosaics and other art projects at their leisure in the adjacent walk-in studio.

Making Art for the Fun of It: New Summer Program in Franklin

kid paintingThere’s a new kind of boot camp in town, but instead of doing push-ups, you’ll find yourself pushing pastels, lifting paint brushes, and stretching your imagination. The Creativity BeatCamp organized by Franklin artist Claire Griffin is designed to deploy children on a new mission in art.
